Custom builds
Software that runs a strategy, keeps an honest record of what it did, and stands up when someone asks you to prove it. New builds, and rescues of software that already exists.
Projects start at $10,000, and most land between $25,000 and $50,000. We say so here so nobody wastes an afternoon finding out.
Most trading software was written for a desk and then squeezed onto a screen the size of a hand. We build the phone side as its own thing, for the moments you are not at the desk.
The whole product on the phone, for a tool that never needed a desktop in the first place. iPhone and Android from one build.
Paired to the machine that does the work. You see what it is doing and you can stop it, from anywhere, without leaving anything open at home.
An alert when something stops, fails, or crosses a line you set — silent otherwise. An alert you cannot ignore is worth ten you can.
Broker credentials never live on the phone. It talks to your own system, not to us, and it carries only what it needs to show you.
The App Store and Google Play when it is a product you sell; TestFlight and internal distribution when it is for your own desk and nobody else's business.
On a plane, in a basement, on hotel wi-fi: it tells you plainly that the figures are from 40 minutes ago instead of showing you a stale number as if it were live.
Ledgepod already runs a paired-phone companion of its own, on both platforms. It is not a diagram — it is shipping.
What we build
If yours is not here it is still worth asking. The common thread is software that touches a broker and has to be right.
A desktop program with your name on it and your engine inside: pre-flight checks before it trades, a ledger built from the broker's own records, and updates that install themselves.
One place to see every machine running your software, change what it does, and stop it — from a desk or a phone.
Statements, tax exports and audit trails assembled from settled broker data, so what you hand a partner, an accountant or an auditor matches what happened.
Client onboarding, allocation, reconciliation and reporting, built against your broker's API instead of bolted onto a spreadsheet.
If you sell signals or a system, we turn it into software your customers install — licensed, versioned, updated by you, every trade recorded.
A real app on the phone — on its own, or paired to the desktop system it belongs to. Today's figures, an alert when something stops, and a control that actually stops it.
A page your clients, partners or investors sign into to see their own numbers — separated properly, so nobody sees anyone else's.
Push to a phone, a text, an e-mail or a chat channel — for the three things that actually matter, not a stream you learn to ignore.
Someone built it, it half works, and they are gone. We read what exists, tell you honestly what is salvageable, and finish it.
Broker APIs, market data, bank connections, accounting exports — the plumbing between things that were never meant to talk.
Turn a pile of results into something you can ask questions of: what worked, in which conditions, and whether the difference is real.
Screens, flows and a design system your own developers build from. Useful when you have the engineering and not the eye.
Signed releases, an updater that can roll back, and credentials handled so they never sit where they should not.
After it ships: monitoring, fixes, and someone who answers when a broker changes their API on a Tuesday.
Who we build for
The worked example
A Windows program that runs a trading line on a trader's own machine, in their own brokerage account, and writes down every order and its outcome. Orders go straight from their computer to their broker — nothing of ours sits in that path, and we never hold anyone's money or credentials.
Signed releases, verified before they install · engines swapped without a reinstall · statements built from settled broker records
A ledger that reconciles against the broker to the cent · Android console and companion app · updates that install themselves and can roll back
How it goes
The form below, or an email. No questionnaire about your journey.
Whether it is a week or a season of work, what it costs, what we would build first — and if it is not a fit, we say so and tell you what would be.
Working software in front of you within days, not a deck. Then it improves on a short cycle you can steer.
Your keys, your accounts, your data, your source code. We build it; you own it.
Where we start
Ten is the smallest project we take, and it is not a posture. Below that number nobody can read your existing code properly, build something that runs on your real data, prove it works and still be around in six months when your broker changes an endpoint. Trying anyway is how people end up with the half-finished software we get called in to rescue.
Ten buys one well-built thing that does its job. The middle of our work — a system with a console behind it, records that stand up, a phone app, somebody's strategy turned into a product people pay for — lands between twenty-five and fifty. Past that you are usually buying a fleet, or a desk, or both.
So if your budget is under ten, we will tell you straight away and point you at a freelancer instead — no meeting, no proposal, no three weeks of silence. And if it is over ten, you get a fixed number in writing before a line is written, not an hourly rate that quietly drifts.
Before you ask
You do. Full source, delivered to your repository, yours to keep, change or hand to someone else. We do not licence it back to you and there is no key we can turn off.
Yes, before you send anything. Your strategy, your edge and your numbers are the whole reason you are hiring rather than buying off the shelf — we would expect you to ask.
No. We are a software company, not a broker and not an adviser. Your credentials stay with you, at your broker, in your systems. We build the thing that reads and acts under your control — we are never in the middle of it.
No. It is yours, it is in writing, and frankly it would be a bad business — our name is worth more than any one system.
Then you take it. Handover is part of the job, not a negotiation at the end: the source, the documentation, the build steps and a walkthrough with your developer. You are never stuck with us, which is exactly why most people stay.
You will know early. The first phase is fixed scope and fixed price, and you see it running on real data long before it is finished — not a demo, the actual thing. If it is not right you stop, and you keep everything built so far.
Because we have already shipped a trading product and lived with it. Fees per contract, partial fills, spreads with legs that settle separately, a broker changing its API without warning — a generalist finds those out on your money and your time. We start knowing them.
Small, and deliberately so. You talk to the person building it, not an account manager relaying it. That is also why we take a limited number of projects at a time.
A first working version in weeks, not quarters. We would rather give you something small that runs than something large that is nearly done.
The smallest project we take is $10,000, and most land between $25,000 and $50,000. You get a fixed number in writing before any work starts — not an hourly rate that drifts. Tell us your range in the brief below and we will tell you honestly what fits inside it, what does not, and what we would build first.
